Colorful concealers, primers, and powders across the color spectrum, while not new products, are regaining momentum in the second quarter of 2018, according Kline’s digital beauty tracking service, Amalgam.
Nearly all of these products improve in rank and score in the face makeup category. Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid jumps from #113 to #49 in concealers and, after months of being absent from the charts, e.l.f. Color Correcting Stick appears during Q2, ranking #40 in concealers. In all, more than 15 color correctors appear in the concealer segment in June, up from 12 in March. Most recently, Evermarket’s 15 Colors Professional Concealer Camouflage Makeup Palette reappeared on the charts, and L’Oréal’s Infallible Total Cover Color Correcting Kit keeps moving up (it’s now in the #4 position) in concealers.
