Consultant, Manufacturing Competitiveness Process Industries Practice - {Gurgaon (Haryana) or Hyderabad, India}


Job Description:

Kline and Company is currently seeking a full-time Consultant dedicated to the Manufacturing Competitiveness & Process Industries Practice team, serving global companies with competitive manufacturing assessments. This position will be based in one of our two offices in India. As a member of the MC/PI Practice team, your primary responsibility will be to develop competitive information to support assessments that address critical and strategic manufacturing decisions, mainly in the chemicals, materials, and petroleum industries. Critical and confidential issues may include manufacturing cost competitiveness of existing operations and new plants.

MC Consultants will have the support, tools and resources necessary to conduct searches of secondary sources such as:

  • Business databases
  • Engineering/technical databases
  • Government agency records, including environmental, labor, tax sources
  • Industry studies
  • Patent literature
  • Trade and industry media
  • Other industry/government sources

A key requirement of the position is to conduct primary interviews with selected industry sources.

You will also assist the MC project team in:

  • Analyzing research data
  • Interpreting findings
  • Writing interim and final client reports and presentations

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates will have at least a B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field. In addition, you will have up to 5 years of industrial experience in process/technology assessments, process engineering, technology licensing, or related consulting experience. You will have good analytical, communication, and presentation skills and be skilled at using the Microsoft Office suite of programs
