Based in the Little Falls, NJ office, Carrie Mellage is responsible for the Consumer Products practice of Kline’s market research group worldwide.
With 10 years of market research and consulting experience, her focus is on the personal care and home care products industry segments. She currently oversees such research report titles as GLOBAL COSMETICS & TOILETRIES, PROFESSIONAL SKIN CARE, HOUSEHOLD CLEANING PRODUCTS, and BEAUTY RETAILING. During her eight years at Kline, she has also participated in several proprietary assignments involving market analysis, business assessment, and strategic planning.
Carrie is a member of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) and participates in the Personal Care Products Council (formerly the CTFA). She is a frequent speaker at such industry conferences as HBA Global Expo, In-Cosmetics, the Cosmeceuticals Summit, and the National Candle Association’s Annual Meeting. She has led webinars in partnership with HAPPI Magazine and has been featured as a guest lecturer at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Carrie is frequently quoted as an industry expert in various publications, including the New York Times, Women’s Wear Daily, International Cosmetic News, and the Rose Sheet.
Carrie earned an MBA from New York University majoring in marketing, management, and international business. She also holds a B.S. in marketing from The College of New Jersey and she speaks conversational Spanish. She resides with her husband and pug dog in Nutley, NJ. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and volunteering for various organizations.
