KLINE OPENS TOKYO OFFICE

LITTLE FALLS, NJ, October 28, 2003 - As part of its initiative for organizational growth, Kline & Company, Inc. (www.klinegroup.com), a leading international business consulting firm headquartered in Little Falls, NJ, has opened a new office in Tokyo.

The firm has tapped Yukihiko Adachi to serve as manager of Kline Japan Ltd. Hiroshi Emisawa will oversee marketing and business development activities for the Tokyo operation as marketing manager.

“(Opening the new office) was the next natural step in our efforts to better serve our growing client base in Japan and the rest of Asia,” said Joe Tarantola, president of Kline & Company. “Kline has been assisting clients in Japan since 1974, and the new office will enhance our ability to help these clients execute their global business strategies.”

To celebrate the opening, a reception was held at the ANA Hotel in Akasaka, Tokyo, on October 7. More than 50 representatives from Kline’s biggest clients in the chemicals industry were in attendance.

In addressing the attendees, Adachi said that “The large number of guests from major chemical companies attests to the many valuable business relationships we’ve been able to cultivate in Japan. We are excited to be able to serve these companies more directly from our office in Tokyo.”
