Job Description:
Kline & Company is currently seeking bright, enthusiastic, hard-working, and versatile professionals for positions within multiple practices in our Shanghai, China, office.
Your primary responsibilities will be to develop market (competitive and/or technical) information, analyze data, and engage with Kline and client teams to resolve critical strategic issues our clients are facing. Kline’s clients are predominantly major companies operating in the chemicals, materials, energy, consumer products, and life sciences industries. Typical service offerings would include strategy development, M&A support, technology management, manufacturing and supply chain performance improvement, and customer relationship management.
Your role on the engagement team includes:
- Conducting research via primary interviews and secondary sources
- Assembling and analyzing all available data
- Synthesizing analyses into key findings and actionable recommendations
- Writing client reports and presentations
- Engaging in workshops or detailed project discussions
- Collaborating with counterparts or external Kline partners around the world to prepare and deliver client presentations
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a business or technical field and more than 5 years of experience in management consulting or pertinent industry roles. Candidates for technical positions will preferably have at least a B.S. in chemistry, chemical engineering, or another technical field. All candidates must have good analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Excellent written and verbal English is essential.
