Job Description:
Kline & Company is currently seeking bright, enthusiastic, hard-working and flexible professionals for positions within the Energy practice of Kline Management Consulting. This position is envisaged for our Houston, TX, office, but we would consider candidates at our office in Little Falls, NJ.
As a Senior Consultant in the Energy practice, your primary responsibilities will be to develop market (competitive and/or technical) information, analyze data, engage with Kline and client teams to resolve critical strategic issues our clients are facing, and assist in managing junior team members. Senior Consultants in Energy will contribute primarily to projects related to oil, natural gas, and derivates but may also work with Kline’s other consulting practices, including chemicals, materials, consumer products, and life sciences. Typical service offerings include strategy development, M&A support, technology management, manufacturing and supply chain assessments, and customer relationship management.
The Senior Consultant’s role on the engagement team includes:
- Conducting research via primary interviews and secondary sources
- Assembling and analyzing all available data
- Synthesizing analyses into key findings and actionable recommendations
- Writing client reports and presentations
- Engaging in workshops or detailed project discussions
- Collaborating with counterparts or external Kline partners around the world to prepare and deliver client presentations
- Managing junior team members in a project-based environment
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a business or technical field and more than 5 years of experience in management consulting or pertinent industry roles. All candidates must have good analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
