Job Description:
Kline & Company is currently seeking professionals to join our Shanghai, China, office as full-time analysts to serve the firm’s global clients. The firm is seeking bright, enthusiastic, hard-working, and versatile individuals with the ability to work effectively across industry segments and service offerings. Your primary responsibility will be to develop market, competitive, and technical information and insights for client engagements that support the critical and strategic decisions our clients are facing, mainly in the chemicals and materials, consumer products, and energy industries.
As an integral part of the project team, you will conduct primary interviews with selected industry and regulatory sources. You will also assist the engagement project team in:
- Developing and analyzing research data
- Interpreting findings, including making financial and engineering calculations
- Writing interim and final client reports and presentations
- Presenting your findings to our clients
Analysts must also have the skills necessary to effectively and efficiently search secondary sources, including:
- Business databases
- Engineering/technical databases
- Government agency records, including environmental, labor, and tax sources
- Industry studies
- Patent literature
- Trade and industry media
- Other industry/government sources
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a business or a technical field and up to 5 years of pertinent industry experience in sales and marketing. All candidates must have excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Excellent written and verbal English is essential.
