Position Description:
Kline & Company is currently seeking professionals with management consulting experience that are able to understand the chemicals, materials , petroleum, or consumer products industries as full-time Consultants or Senior Consultants to join its Management Consulting Practice, serving the firm’s global clients. The firm is seeking bright, enthusiastic, hard working and flexible individuals with the ability to work effectively across industry segments and service offerings. As a member of the Management Consulting practice, your primary responsibility will be to develop and analyze market, competitive and technical information and insights for client engagements that support the critical and strategic decisions our clients are facing.
As an integral part of the project team, you will be expected to utilize tools to better comprehend key markets and to develop strategic recommendations for our clients including:
- Synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data in order to address clients’ key issues effectively
- Managing individual project workstreams as well as project analysts and consultants
- Conducting primary interviews with selected industry and regulatory sources
- Developing and analyzing data from primary and secondary sources
- Interpreting findings including making financial and, if necessary, engineering calculations
- Writing interim and final client reports and presentations
- Presenting findings to our clients
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have up to 5 years of pertinent experience in management consulting, corporate development, or strategic marketing with excellent analytical, data modeling, communication, and presentation skills. A B.S. in engineering, chemistry or related science is preferred but can be substituted with relevant industry experience. In addition, an MBA is preferred but not required.
