Kline & Company currently has an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated professional to join our Kline Market Research team as a full time Market Research Analyst within our Agriculture/Chemicals/Energy practice. The position will be based in our regional office in Prague, Czech Republic. Our clients include many leading multinational and regional companies involved in the following sectors:
- Our Agricultural Practice focuses on various market sectors including professional turf and ornamental plants, professional pest control, consumer pesticides, vegetation management, agricultural/veterinary, and more.

Our Chemicals Practice focuses on specialty chemicals and materials sectors such as raw materials for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, household and institutional cleaning, synthetic latex polymers, biocides, and many others
- Our Energy Practice primarily focuses on such specialty sectors as finished lubricants (industrial and automotive); lubricant basestocks, lubricant additives, synthetic lubricants, metalworking fluids, petroleum waxes, and related specialty products
Job Description:
- Conduct primary market research, consisting of telephone and in person interviews, combined with secondary market research pertaining to specific industry segments
- Gather and analyze information, developing insights on market trends and forecasts
- Prepare written reports
Job Requirements:
- B.S. in chemistry, chemical engineering, or another technical field

Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills

Market research experience; chemical or related industry experience is a plus

Fluent oral and written English language skills and at least one major European language are required

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a multi-national team under tight deadlines

Affinity for conducting in-person or telephone interviews

Proficiency in PC equipment including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ideal candidate will be motivated, organized and with a consistent attitude to completing tasks

Czech language is not required
