Kline & Company currently has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to join our Kline Market Research sales support team in Europe. The position will be based in our regional office in Prague, Czech Republic. Our clients include many leading multinational and regional companies involved in the following sectors:
- Our Consumer Products practice focuses on cosmetics, toiletries, and related personal care products; nonprescription drugs; and cleaning products for the household and institutional markets.
- Our Energy practice primarily focuses on specialty sectors such as finished lubricants (industrial and automotive), lubricant basestocks, lubricant additives, synthetic lubricants, metalworking fluids, petroleum waxes, and related specialty products.
- Our Chemicals practice focuses on specialty chemicals and materials sectors such as raw materials for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, synthetic latex polymers, biocides, and many others.
Position Description:
- Position reports to Director of Global Sales, or equivalent level.
- Conduct telephone sales calls to potential clients across Kline’s major industry segments in Europe, North America, and Asia.
- Develop and screen sales leads for Kline Market Research’s global sales team, consisting of regional sales directors, sales specialists, and client relations coordinators.
- Update and maintain key client contact information in ACT! contact database.
- Conduct e-mailings to our global client base to announce new reports and services.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Relevant business-to-business sales experience
- Prior experience with publishers of market research studies is a plus
- Relevant experience with contact databases, preferably with ACT!
- Ability to conduct telephone sales calls
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multinational team
- Excellent organization skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Good oral and written English language skills and at least one major European language are required. Multiple European languages is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office

- Compensation will be mainly fixed base salary, with a modest commission based on sales performance
