Business Development Manager - Shanghai or Beijing, China


	Job Description:
	Kline & Company is seeking a highly motivated individual for consideration as a Business Development Manager in Shanghai or Beijing, China. With extensive travel around China and the Asia region. Ideal candidate shall have around 10 years of experience in business development in the region, in Petroleum/Energy, Chemical, and Consumer segment as a part of a consulting company. Candidates with domain knowledge of Petroleum / Energy, Chemical and Consumer segment with a background in sales / business development in China and in the Asia region with concept selling of solutions / services, which require cross-functional know-how, at a strategic level, may also be explored. Candidate with understanding of Syndicated Studies & Publication shall have an advantage. Identify and develop new clients in the Consulting and Syndicated Studies Publishing service lines in the Petroleum/Energy, Chemical and Consumer segments Service existing customers in China and in Asia for both business lines in coordination with other global locations of Kline Identify and develop new clients in both business lines in other segments including FMCG Generate, Build and Manage balance 10% of the business from China from diverse industry segments Achieve revenue and profitability targets Work in close coordination with the China team for execution of the assignments Reporting Structure Managing Director, Shanghai Office Education BS in Engineering with MBA Languages English (must), Chinese

	Job Requirements:
	Hands on professional with good communication and presentation skills Strong written and verbal English Computer Literate Have initiative and drive Good interpersonal skills with ability to interact across levels in a client organization High sales orientation and a consulting mind set Negotiation ability and ability to close deals independently Target oriented with eye for detail Growth Opportunities Along with the growth of the operations in the region across diverse industry segments.
