Sunscreens and SPF-based sun care are among the most dynamic and fastest-growing products in the U.S. professional skin care market in 2017. Kline’s annual U.S. Professional Skin Care Market report reveals that sales of take-home sun care products advance 7.7% in 2017, mainly driven by the growing demand for sun protection as marketers, physicians, and aestheticians increasingly push the use of daily SPF. The market sees a significant number of new product launches that also drives this growth, with new sun care introductions from marketers like Alastin, Epionce, HydroPeptide, Image Skincare, Murad, and Senté.
